"Mommyyyyyyyyyyy, you are not supposed to turn yet because the [traffic] light is yellow. You are supposed to stop on yellow and red," my son was telling me as I turned left.
The truth was the light turned yellow as I was turning left, and that is what I explained to him. He said, "My teacher said that yellow means stop, just like red."
Hopefully, he will still be a safe driver when he turns 16!
