Do Me A Favor, Please

I picked up my son today from preschool. I always like to know what he does at preschool, so every preschool day, I ask him what did he do. He always tells me that he played with his friends. I would ask him if he did art activities, listened to story time, etc. He would say yes, and then he would tell me the specifics.

On our way home today, he says to me, "Mommy, do me a favor please." I wanted to giggle, he just amazes me with his thinking and vocabulary. I said, "What would you like me to do?" He said, "Take me to McDonald's for lunch." I said, "Sorry, not today." He said, "It's a favor, pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase."

Before I changed the subject, I reminded him that fast food restaurants are junk food--it's ok to eat sometimes (emphasizing the word sometimes). He said, "Ok, fine."
