He took it rather well. As a reward, I told him that I would take him to McDonald's, so that he can use some of his energy since it was too cold to play outside. We went to McDonald's after I had called a couple of my coffee friends to meet me there.
When my son was finished playing, he said to me, "I am ready for lunch now." I had told him to wait another five minutes because it wasn't lunch yet.
He said, "Mommy, if I play the minutes will go faster, right?" I nodded, and off he went to play as my coffee friends and I smiled at his comment.
