My son said, "Mommy, I would like some milk and cookies so that I can dump my cookies in the milk." He was requesting milk and cookies for snack.
At first, I did not know what he meant when he said "dump my cookies in the milk." Then it hit me, that he meant "dunk".
So, I smiled at my son and said,"Oh OK, so you would like some milk and cookies to dunk?"
He said, "Yup." And smiled.
